2012 News: Montesino is Growing!
Ronald Jaketic has over 35 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry specializing in packaging. His
expertise is in materials, component design, equipment and qualification / validation in the US, Puerto Rico and Europe. Mr. Jaketic was employed by Carter-Wallace as Manager of Packaging Engineering for 20 years where he was responsible for packaging issues at the company’s domestic and Puerto Rican facilities.
His broad based expertise is widely recognized in the industry. Ron was a past chairman of the Drug and Pharmaceutical Packaging Committee and has numerous design patents including the Institute of Packaging Professionals’ Ameristar-Pharmaceutical Package of the Year for his patented nasal spray package. For the past eight years, he has used this experience to form his own consulting service, Creative Packaging Specialists LLC. Clients include MedPointe, Berlex (Bayer), Pfizer, McNeil and Cephalon. He has an MBA from Monmouth University and a BS degree from the University of Pittsburgh in Economics with a minor in Engineering.
James M. Kronick is a Senior manager with extensive experience in packaging, pharmaceutical and chemical
manufacturing. Jim is skilled in developing cost-effective processes, components and suppliers, identifying potential manufacturing problems and designing corrective actions where required for problem resolution. He offers extensive experience in creating test methods to ensure consistent quality and provides guidance to interpret results. His extensive background includes facility design, construction, scheduling, and budgeting. He also is experienced in developing and implementing systems to meet governmental regulatory requirements
Dr. Erwin Pasbrig received his Ph.D. in organic chemistry from the University of Merseburg Institute of
Technology. Since 1983 Dr. Pasbrig has worked in packaging materials, especially the use of aluminum in high barrier packaging. At Lawson Mardon Singen his responsibuilities included the supervision of a team to develop applications for packaging materials for pharmaceutical products. For 3 years he was head of Product Management and Technical Marketing for the pharmaceutical and cosmetic sectors at Lawson Mardon. His team won recognition at institutions like the Deutsche Verpackungs-wettbewerb, World Star of Packaging and the EAFA.
In 2005 Dr. Pasbrig became Director of Research and Development for the Pharmaceutical Sector of Alcan Flexible Packaging in Europe. In 2008 he began applying that work to Emerging Markets, becoming Business Development Director for Pharmaceutical Flexible Films in Asia and handled Strategic Accounts in the region as well.
Yanhuai Peng received her Master Degree in computer science from RWTH Aachen University in Germany and a Bachelor degree in Printing Mechanical Engineering from the Beijing Institute of Graphic Communication. Yanhuai worked for close to 5 years with Heidelberg China Ltd. in Beijing, and was responsible for pre-sales and post sales technical support in the area prepress and digital printing.
Ms. Peng presented at major Pre-Press events in China, including China Press, and is active in bringing together Pre-Press technology with the printing needs of the healthcare, especially the pharmaceutical, markets. Given her fluency in Mandarin, German and English, she brings a unique combination of skills to Montesino's customers.
We've moved!
And, after 11 years at Superfine Lane, Montesino is moving to a new building. Effective January 2nd, our new
address will be 1719 Delaware Ave. in the Trolley Square area of Wilmington. Montesino has the entire third floor of the building with room to grow, private parking for visitors, and the ambiance of Trolley Square. We look forward to seeing our customers, friends and colleagues at the new office soon!
